It was the annual Vancouver Underwear Affair. The Affair aims to raise awareness and money to fight cancers below the waist. Team Saxx was in the mix for the second year in a row, running the 10km corse in only, you guessed it, their Saxx.  Thanks to everyone that helped us out with our fundraising efforts. The Memorial Day long weekend saw over 36,000 UFC fans take in the expo and Saxx was on hand sharing comfortable underwear with all the fans/stars of the show. This was the first year that Saxx has been involved in the UFC Fan Expo and judging from the response we had from everyone we met it won’t be the last. Highlight from the show include seeing the massive crowd Canadian George St-Perrier generated at the booth next to us during his autograph signing session. At one point the crowd got so big George had to be escorted out of the conversion center with 8 huge bodyguards. The question I would like to ask is does George really need bodyguards? Who’s really going to attack a UFC fighter? Maybe they were there to protect everyone else from George? Check out some of the photos from the event. The 42km course is one of the most scenic marathon routes, taking runners through Vancouver's Stanley Park, False Creek and into the Kitsilano and Point Grey neighbourhoods. Big congratulations goes out to Canadian and Squamish resident Jason Loutitt for finishing second at the event. The Banked Slalom is a super laid back, fun event that celebrates the life of snowboard legend Neil Edgeworth. Snowboard royalty were in attendance this year with the likes of Sean Johnson, Alex Warburton and Olympian Mark Fawcett all speeding their way down the course. If you haven’t ever been to the Banked Slalom, make an effort to be there next year. The Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino was the venue for this seasons Magic Trade-show. Saxx was again an exhibitor at the show and our presence was bigger and better than ever. There was huge hype surrounding Saxx at the show as people got to know why Balls and Legs Need Some Time Apart. Lets just hope that this time what happens in Vegas doesn’t stay in Vegas.
