About Saxx Mens Underwear
|
Our Foundation
Saxx was founded on an inspiration to make men more comfortable
by re-thinking and re-designing men's underwear
Our Purpose
Saxx is a men's underwear company. We exist to provide men the most comfortable underwear on the market. Saxx has built a reputation for a quality garment built around our innovative Saxx Comfort Side Panels
Our History
Near Alaska fishing on the Pacific Ocean in 2006, Saxx founder Trent Kitsch, was wearing an ocean fishing suit which was uncomfortably making his balls press against his legs. This was the 3rd day of the trip and Trent began to think?
"How can I re-design Men's underwear to prevent contact and be the most comfortable?"
His minds eye began the conceptual design and when returning to business school,Trent hired
a professionals fashion designer to create his vision. After 14 prototypes, input from professional
athletes, other designers, and months of testing and R&D - Saxx was born.
The first 200 pairs of Saxx mens underwear sold out in a few hours and since that first day of sales in December 2006. Saxx's unique design and story has gained momentum to sales of over 20,000 pairs in 2008.
Present - Our Future
Our only business is underwear and we are keenly focused on delivering the best feel and comfort for men in the industry.
Saxx is not an athletic product alone. Saxx is worn by any man for any of his underwear needs:
Everyday, Environmental, Athletic.
In 2008 Saxx successfully launched the Saxx Bamboo line which has since become our most popular line, with the Bamboo Boxer Brief as our best-selling underwear. Saxx also introduced a Long John style to all three lines in Winter 08.
Saxx has been seen on numerous television features (CBC, Global, NBC) National Newspapers (Globe & Mail), respected websites, and famous actors in Hollywood (Taylor Kitsch - Gambit "Wolverine - Origins"). Numerous professional athletes also wear Saxx on and off the field (Justin Morneau, Jeff Francis.) Saxx has also made team sales to the Los Angeles Dodgers, Colorado Rockies, and Arizona Diamondbacks, etc.
